We don’t know why it needs regulation to make this happen because fitting a new build home with an electric car charger should be common sense; however, it looks like housebuilders will be required to fit chargers to new and refurbished homes as a matter of course.

Holland and Norway have vowed to ban diesels from their roads by 2025, by which time, EVs will have gone mainstream. Houses without chargers are going to be as attractive as houses without indoor plumbing…
