Faraday are launching their initial EV product offering next week

Whilst 2016 will see a lot of noise from the established car marques about how they will make the journey from ICE to EV, there are some interesting start ups which we think will have as much, if not more impact on the way we will be driving in the next decade.

The most intriguing is Faraday, not least because their car will be the first in a good many years to carry the name of a British engineer. The company has recruited several of its senior bodies from Tesla (and one from the BMW i-project) so their EV pedigree is strong. We’ll hear more about their initial product offering next week when they launch a concept at the CES show in Las Vegas. That they are giving their concept its first outing at the worlds most important electronics show rather than a car show is telling.
