Another high profile rooftop solar install is underway for Mypower

Off the back of the ground-breaking Gloucester Cathedral solar install last year, Mypower were commissioned for a 500+ solar PV system at Shire Hall, Gloucestershire County Council’s head office.

Work is already under way. The first of three phases began this week and as you can see from the image, the solar PV system is invisible from the ground – very much like Gloucester Cathedral’s.

Mypower have now installed solar on two of Gloucester’s most important buildings.

We would like to thank Mark Owen, MD of Moose Marketing and PR for setting up the contact between Gloucestershire County Council / Kier Construction and Mypower.

The first phase at Shire Hall will be completed in the next couple of weeks and they can look forward to generating their electricity from the sun and significantly cutting their costs over the next 25+ years.
