Mypower attend Intersolar, the annual trade show for the European and global solar industry

We're enjoying some warm Bavarian sunshine and the occasional wheat beer at Intersolar, the annual trade show for the European and global solar industry.

Lots of innovation to see and the big trends this year were energy storage and flexible thin film coverings.

Car charging has also gone mainstream and we liked the Mercedes Benz stand where they placed their latest all electric car alongside their new domestic energy storage systems. The SLS has four electric motors driving all four wheels with an equivalent power output of around 700 horse power.

The cagey Swabians were being coy about whether it would make final production but they did suggest that £400,000 would secure it.
