Mypower nominated for 2 South West Energy Efficiency Awards

Mypower have been nominated in 2 categories at The South West Energy Efficiency Awards;
Small Scale Project (<£250K) of the Year for our solar installation at Gloucester Cathedral and Solar PV Installer of the Year.

In November 2016 Mypower made headlines around the world – by installing 150 solar panels to the roof of Gloucester Cathedral - the oldest building of its type to have solar installed. The system generates 29,000kW of energy for the cathedral every year, enough to power seven semi-detached houses or make 250,000 cups of tea, and reduces the cathedral’s energy costs by 25 per cent.

Winners will be announced next month – we are keeping everything crossed!

This is the second set of awards Mypower have been nominated for this year. Last month Mypower was shortlisted for a British Renewable Energy Award with the winners being announced 15th June 2017.

Mypower have already won the Corporate Livewire Award for Excellence in Commercial Solar Energy Solutions.

Mypower specialise in solar PV installations on agricultural buildings and commercial properties. For more information on how your business can significantly reduce its energy costs please get in touch.
