California is racing towards a solar future

Great article in the FT about how California is racing towards a solar future - nothing to do with politicians and whether or not Donald Trump takes the US out of the Paris Accord; the simple fact is that on America’s west coast, solar electricity is much cheaper than coal. Simple market economics and hard-nosed commercial pragmatism is driving California’s change to renewable electricity, not government diktat or distorting subsidies.
