Cuts to the Feed-in Tariff scheme might not be implemented until March 2016
Current noise from DECC suggests that the cuts to the Feed-in Tariff scheme might not be implemented until March 2016. The government has to allow forty parliamentary days to pass after it has announced the findings from the consultation process. Parliamentary days are different to normal days because our hard working MPs are exhausted by mid-December so parliament is in Christmas recess between 17 December and 05 January. This means that if you were considering a PV installation on your business but were put off by the prospect of FiTs all but disappearing on 01 January, you might want to reconsider.
