EU judges uphold decision for UK to subsidise Hinkley Point

The FT reports that the EU Lower General Court has ruled that its just fine and dandy for the UK to subsidise the shambolic nuclear power plant, Hinkley C.

The government now has a legal precedent which allows it to use your money to underwrite this folly and secure EDF a price for electricity well over twice the current wholesale cost.
