Tis the season to be jolly and today some jolly news broke - the summer of 2016 saw half of Britain's electricity produced by low-carbon sources. This can only mean that clean energy will soon overtake electricity produced from coal, which we know is dying a death. The hideous view for commuters of coal-fired power stations in Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire and other northern counties will hopefully soon be a thing of the past.

We were particularly drawn to the news that output from solar had increased by a massive 30% compared with 2015. We're finding more businesses than ever are interested in solar, positive news like this can only attract even more to consider it.
