Higher parking charges for diesel cars in drive against city pollution

So its started...

A desire for cleaner city air and an incessant need for more money is prompting governments and councils to start to hammer owners of diesel cars with higher taxes and charges.

Westminster council has announced new parking charges which will make parking a diesel car a painful exercise.

This is just the start. We can expect higher duty on diesel, higher taxes for diesel company cars and faster depreciation and residual values slide.

Its time to dump the diesels and move hybrid or electric. We can help with this transition....
