Implement rooftop solar and prevent business black-outs

The prediction of a 10-year low of spare energy capacity meant the risk of black-outs was a real possibility earlier this year; short-term measures have prevented this from happening but a long term fix needs to happen.

With old generators being switched off and power plants closing all the time, new ways of generating electricity need to be implemented. It's time for the world to stand up and take notice of solar generated electricity.

Waitrose recently installed 186kWp of solar at their Leckford Dairy Estate but it's folly to think only the big guns can embrace electricity generated by the sun. Solar is an incredibly reliable long term investment and all small to medium sized businesses should give solar power some serious consideration in the near future.

With solar on your rooftop you are immune from the energy suppliers' price hikes and with the government's Feed-In Tariff, the electricity you send back to the grid will generate you some more income.
