We can see the inarguable case that running cars on electricity is more sensible than volatile liquids
We think that the days of the internal combustion engine are numbered. But then we would. Our business is creating electricity from daylight. We can see the inarguable case that this is more sensible than bringing expensive, volatile liquids from seriously hostile and unstable parts of the world at great expense. We certainly won’t miss handing over the best part of a hundred to fill our cars with this stuff and we can happily live without the sheer, messy complexity of engines, gearboxes, transmissions etc.
There is, however, a Luddite tendency among petrolheads who consider the very notion of electric cars to be heresy. So it’s nice to see our view echoed by the founder of PistonHeads who appears to have driven his Tesla test car on a road to Damascus…..
