Important sources are predicting bad things for big energy

It’s been a grim week for big energy; an investment bank has pointed out that the lights are likely to go out next winter, the boss of the National Grid says that the grid is finished and now we learn that diesel is going to run out because our refineries don’t produce enough and we have to rely on imports from Russia and India.

The silver lining is, we suppose, that if there is less diesel around then fewer of us will get cancer from all the soot that it produces.

Time to go electric…
