Pop-up EV chargers are hitting UK streets

We’re all over this pop-up charging point being developed by @urbaneleclondon.

This charging point is designed for on street parking and will enable people without driveways, garages or workplace charging to make the switch to EVs. The charge station retracts into the pavement when not in use so does not add to the visual clutter on the pavements.

Oxford City Council is the first to start installing these charge points in the UK - 100 or so being installed in Oxford town centre - and we hope others will quickly follow.
