Solar plane prepares for round the world flight

Cynics will scoff but this solar power plane might do for commercial aviation what Tesla has done for electric cars.  It’ll be the improvement in li-on batteries which will send this mainstream but we reckon solar powered domestic flights will be a commonplace in southern US states and the ME within five years.
