Solar power supplied 16 percent of the UK’s electricity demand on Friday 3rd July

Even though it’s reported in The Grauniad, we have no reason to doubt the veracity of this piece reporting record outputs from the UK’s PV systems.

All of our customers’ (and in fact, our own) systems have been generating much more electricity than we estimated when we designed the schemes and not one has underperformed.
