Aston Martin are not letting the leave vote affect plans for a new factory
Aston Martin have been quick to confirm that the result on the EU referendum will not affect their plans for a new factory in Wales.

In a positive statement, CEO Andy Palmer tells the FT that it sees any fall in the value of GBP as a boost to competitiveness. Among the Armageddon predictions being trotted out this morning, we think the news from Aston Martin, which exports most of its cars, is a greater indicator of how the UK will fare outside of the EU.
This factory will produce the next generation of Aston models including the Rapide E electric car which we told you about here. We’ll ditch the Tesla for one of these….
