London is requiring cabbies to switch to low emission vehicles

Stinky diesel taxis will be a thing of the past now that London is requiring cabbies to switch to low emission vehicles. The Times reports that a new factory being built by Geely in Ansty will churning out 20,000 hybrid taxis a year, as well as fully electric vans for the massive home delivery market.

Geely has its eyes on a bigger prize; other cities will follow London’s lead and the market for this product will be huge.
