Reports suggest Madrid, Paris, Mexico City and Athens will ban diesel cars by 2025
The BBC reports the accord reached between the mayors of Madrid, Paris, Mexico City and Athens to ban all diesel cars, vans and lorries from their cities by 2025.
This is ground breaking stuff and will mean that businesses delivering there goods and services into these cities will have to use electric (or possibly hydrogen) vans. Some UK cities are already making plans to do something similar with London, Birmingham, Leeds, Derby, Nottingham and Southampton already fine tuning schemes which will restrict or ban diesels from their city centres.
If this trend continues, diesel vehicles will become obsolete very quickly.
