We’re proud to share that Mypower has been recognised in three categories at the 2025 South West Energy Efficiency Awards - a celebration of excellence in sustainable energy and community-focused innovation across the region.

Mypower celebrates triple recognition at South West Energy Efficiency Awards 2025

Our commitment to delivering high-quality commercial solar panel solutions and impactful solar PV installations has been acknowledged with the following accolades:

Highly Commended – Regional Large Scale Project of the Year
Our large-scale commercial solar PV installation at Marshfield Farm Ice Cream stood out for its complexity, performance, and carbon-cutting impact. Spanning multiple rooftops across the site, the system now generates nearly 700,000 kWh of clean electricity annually, covering more than 40% of the farm’s total energy demand and saving around 145 tonnes of CO₂ each year. The project demonstrates how tailored, well-designed solar panel systems for businesses can deliver real long-term benefits.

Highly Commended – Regional Solar PV Installer and Contractor of the Year
This award recognises Mypower’s role as a trusted leader in commercial solar panel installations across the South West. In 2024, we delivered 36 commercial solar PV systems, generating over 10 million kWh of clean electricity. Every installation is designed to maximise performance, minimise disruption, and provide strong financial returns for our clients. From factories and warehouses to food producers and logistics firms, we help businesses take control of their energy future.

Commended – Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Organisation of the Year
We’re particularly proud to be recognised for our work supporting vulnerable customers through renewable energy. When rising energy costs threatened the future of Dumbleton Village Club, we stepped in with a no-cost solar PV and battery storage system, funded through our own resources, donations, and fundraising. The system helps keep this vital community hub open, warm, and welcoming, especially for older residents who rely on it for connection and companionship.

Mypower’s Project Manager, Tom, attended the evening and said: “It was an inspiring evening and a proud moment for all of us at Mypower. These awards recognise not just technical excellence, but the real impact that commercial solar PV can have, whether that’s helping a business cut costs and carbon, or ensuring a community space stays open. We’re honoured to be recognised alongside others making a positive difference across the region.”

We’d like to thank our clients, partners, and dedicated team, and look forward to continuing our mission to deliver outstanding commercial solar panel installations that make financial, environmental, and social sense.
