Sunniest spring since records began!

The Met Office have released figures which show this spring has been the sunniest time since records began in 1929. The UK has seen 573 hours of sunshine from March to May this year with only nine other springs since 1929 breaking over the 500 hours figure.

This is good news for our Solar PV customers who will be seeing increased electricity generation from their solar PV system. The extra electricity produced will be used onsite or exported and sold to the grid.

Scientist believe this weather is due to climate change. Those businesses with Solar PV will be enjoying the weather but resting assured they not contributing to the climate crisis with fossil fuelled electricity.
