Coventry and Warwickshire Green Business Programme
The Coventry & Warwickshire Green Business programme started in January 2019 and runs until June 2023. The Programme is run by Coventry City Council, Coventry University and Coventry University Enterprises. The aim of the Green Business Programme is to help SMEs based in Coventry and Warwickshire to save carbon, with grant investment for energy, water and waste efficiency measures.
Eligibility
The programme is open to SMEs based in Coventry and Warwickshire who can demonstrate they will make carbon savings with new energy efficient processes. Other eligibility criteria are that they employ less than 250 people across all sites, turnover is less than £50million euros and they can show that 50% of sales are being made through business-to-business.

What are the minimum and maximum grant amounts?
The grants that are provided are up to a 40% match of capital investment with a minimum of £1000 and maximum £50,000. If the grant being awarded is less than £25k then only one supplier quote needs to be sourced. If it is over £25k, three supplier quotes must be sourced. Suppliers do not need to be based in Coventry and Warwickshire.
