Germany: Every second industrial roof has a substantial PV installation

We're in deepest Bavaria this week and can see first hand the results of Germany's aggressive push towards solar energy. Every second industrial roof has a substantial PV installation, providing the business with a large chunk of it's electricity demand and reducing the commercial impact of the rising cost of imported energy.

With Government policy now very much geared towards rooftop solar installations, this is coming to an industrial estate near you in the next few years.
