At Mypower, we're all about harnessing potential, whether it's the power of the sun or the incredible talent of our local athletes. That's why we're so proud to sponsor Gloucester Rugby's Vice-Captain, Arthur Clark, a true rising star in the world of rugby who recently earned his first England cap!

Just like Mypower is becoming a leading light in commercial solar installations, Arthur's dedication and hard work have enabled him to rise to the top of his game. It’s a parallel we love to draw: the benefits of consistent effort and an eye on the future. Supporting local talent and businesses is deeply ingrained in Mypower's ethos, and seeing Arthur's success truly warms our hearts (and powers our panels!).

We had the pleasure of hosting Arthur on a rooftop in the heart of Gloucester – The Shirt Factory - where we have recently installed 358 panels. It was a brilliant opportunity to catch up with him and hear about his new responsibilities on and off the pitch.

We chatted about overcoming past challenges and the importance of being grateful for those who've helped us along the way. Arthur shared some fantastic insights into the resilience required to succeed in professional sport, and it really resonated with our own journey at Mypower, building a business that's making a real difference.

Of course, no visit with Mypower would be complete without a discussion about the incredible potential of solar energy for businesses here in the UK. We explained to Arthur how businesses could generate a significant 30-40% of their annual electricity needs directly from their own roof – transforming what's often considered 'dead space' into a powerhouse of clean, renewable energy.

To wrap up, we asked Arthur what he thought solar technology could do for businesses in Gloucester.

“I think there are so many opportunities. One of the biggest killers, especially for small businesses, is that energy output and having to spend loads on energy bills, so I think every little helps, and if you can cut that cost by 30-40% each year, then it’s a no-brainer.” – Arthur Clark
