Nissan are entering the battery storage market

Nissan are the latest entrant into the battery storage market. Using recycled batteries which powered its electric cars in a previous life, Nissan’s offering will be produced at the Sunderland plant where the Leaf EV is built.

The 10 year warranty is impressive and will give comfort to buyers who will have been worried about whether the battery will last the pay back period. With electricity prices rising, and battery prices falling, those concerns will be dealt with.
