Stuttgart bans older diesel cars
The ball has started rolling; authorities in the German city of Stuttgart have banned the use of older diesel cars in the city.
We’ve speculated recently that a widespread ban on European cities won’t be far off and now it’s started.
Stuttgart is particularly prone to pollution as it’s located in a bowl shaped valley - we’re sure its 600,000 residents will be happy breathing in cleaner air at last.
Westminster Council have increased parking rates for diesel cars in London, which is just the beginning of London’s pending ban on them as well.
