Tesla was valued more highly than Ford on yesterday's US stock markets
Something big happened on the US stock markets yesterday; loss making, cash burning, dream dealing Tesla was valued more highly than profit making, cash generative Ford.
To put this in perspective, the markets believe that a global car giant, selling almost 7 million cars annually, is worth less than a niche upstart which sold barely one percent of Ford’s sales last year.
Ford is lagging peers such as GM in the EV market and investors are betting on the demise of the internal combustion engine which Ford brought to mass production.
